Meet Lysa Stein

Ms. Stein owns the only boutique law firm in Michigan that solely specializes in investment fraud and investor claims. She's represented over 700 people and has a 98% success rate. She will get to know you and personally handle every aspect of your case.

Ms. Stein has recovered losses for individual investors, including retirees, lawyers, teachers, business owners, doctors, and even a NASA rocket scientist. . 

She directy represents clients in Michigan, and she is Of Counsel to investment fraud firms nationwide.

After law school, Ms. Stein was a law clerk for the State of Michigan Court of Appeals. In that role, 100% of her draft judicial opinions were published without modification.

During law school, she was a Judicial Intern for the United States District Court in Chicago, Illinois. Initially this was a three-month position. Ms. Stein held the position for nineteen months and has unprecedented authority to use judicial opinions as personal writing samples.

Ms. Stein earned her law degree in 2000 from Loyola University Chicago School of Law  where she was a Law Journal Writer for the Public Interest Law Reporter, an Academic Merit Scholar, and a member of the Dean's List. She also received the Leadership and Service Award and the Pro Bono Recognition Award.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991 from University of MIchigan - Ann Arbor Residential College where she majored in Social Sciences and attained Spanish Proficiency.

Ms. Stein is a member of PIABA, Public Investors Advocate Bar Association.

For six years, she was an Appointed Evaluator to the State Bar of Michigan Standing Committee on Character and Fitness.

Ms. Stein is a Past President of the Women Lawyers Association of MIchigan and was elected to the State Board of Directors for eleven consecutive years. She also sat on the Oakland Region Board of Directors.

During the Flint Water Crisis, Ms. Stein worked with the Center for Civil Justice representing underprivileged people in mass class actions.

She has also held administrative positions in the nonprofit sector, sat on multiple boards of directors, and obtained substantial grant awards for community organizations.

Currently, Ms. Stein assists with the fundraising efforts of the community jazz and concert bands in which she is a musician.
